Lo-Jad was a Jedi Master around the time of the invasion and Battle of Naboo. Lo-Jad chose as a Padawan Jedi Knight Sia-Lan Wezz. Lo-Jad felt that education was very important and as such sent her apprentice to study at the Royal House of Learning in Theed on the beautiful planet of Naboo.

When the Trade Federation invaded Naboo, Lo-Jad's Padawan joined the Naboo Underground and participated in the resistance against the Federation, bringing much pride to Lo-Jad in Sia's accomplishments.
